Refund policy

RETURNS

Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, in original condition, with all garment bags and swing tags attached.

To initiate your return, please visit https://studiodelauer.com/pages/returns-portal and follow the prompts. Once submitted, you'll receive an email with return instructions.

We process returns within 5-7 business days of receiving your parcel. Note that delays may occur during collection launches, sale periods, and holidays.

Return shipping and duties are at the customer's cost. Our warehouse is located in Germany, and fees vary by location. To ensure safe delivery, we recommend using tracking and insurance. We are not responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit.

Please include your full name and order number on the outside of your return parcel.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
Many countries allow refund of import duties and taxes if goods are returned in the same (unaltered) condition with the same ownership. We are not responsible for any import charges from returns.

NON-EU RETURNS: COMMERCIAL INVOICE REQUIRED

For all returns shipped from outside the EU, you must attach three copies of the return commercial invoice to the outside of your parcel. This applies whether you arrange shipping yourself or we create a label for you. The return commercial invoice is required for customs clearance.

You will receive the return commercial invoice via email after your return is approved. Please print three copies, sign them, and attach them to the outside of your package (not inside).

Important: We strongly advise against using FedEx or DHL Express for returns from non-EU countries. These carriers carge high return customs clearance fees in addition to the shipping fee, which we cannot cover and would have to deduct from your refund. Please choose alternative carriers to avoid these unexpected charges.

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS BY COUNTRY

If we create a return label for you, the following costs will be deducted from your refund or charged via payment link for exchanges:

  • Germany: €4.90
  • Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Ireland: €17
  • France, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Luxembourg, Romania: €19
  • Norway: 220 NOK
  • Switzerland: 22 CHF
  • UK: £20
  • Canada: $42 CAD
  • USA: $39 USD
  • Israel: ₪130 ILS
  • Australia: $70 AUD

REFUNDS

We offer refunds for full-priced items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are returned in original condition with garment bags and swing tags attached. We reserve the right to reject returns that don't meet this criteria. Sale items are not eligible for refund (excluding welcome discount).

Once our returns team completes a quality check, the full item value will be refunded to your original payment method, excluding shipping fees. We cannot change card numbers or refund to a different method or person.

Please allow up to 3 business days for funds to appear in your account, depending on your payment method. Gift card purchases will be refunded back to the gift card.

We do not offer refunds on gift cards or sale/discounted items including promotional discounts. Orders placed using the Welcome Code are eligible for refund, exchange, or 110% store credit. Products marked *final sale are not eligible for return.

110% STORE CREDIT

We offer store credit at 110% of your item value, with no expiry date, for full-priced items.

We offer store credit at 100% of your item value, with no expiry date, for selected sale items (excluding *final sale items which are not eligible).

EXCHANGES

We accept exchanges for full-priced items and selected sale items within 14 days of delivery. Your exchange order will be dispatched once your return has been received and assessed. Products marked *final sale are not eligible for exchange.

Exchange shipping is free - we cover the cost of shipping your new item to you.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability at the time of processing. We cannot hold stock for exchange requests.

If your requested item is unavailable, we recommend reaching out to us directly for restock information, signing up for notifications, and opting for store credit or refund if eligible.

SALE ITEMS

We offer 100% store credit or exchange on selected sale items provided they are returned in original condition with garment bags and swing tags attached. We do not offer refunds on sale items. Products with *final sale are not eligible for return, store credit, refund, or exchange.

FINAL SALE ITEMS

Products marked *final sale are not eligible for store credit, refund, or exchange. We clearly note *final sale in the product description, at checkout, and in your confirmation email.

FAULTY ITEMS

If your item arrives with a manufacturing fault, please report this to customer service at returns@studiodelauer.com within 14 days of delivery for replacement, repair, or refund. Please include a detailed description and clear images of the fault in your email.

Items with manufacturing faults discovered after wear must be reported within 3 months of purchase. Please include a detailed description and clear images. Items damaged due to incorrect garment care or general wear and tear are not considered faulty.

RETURN DUE TO FAILED DELIVERY

If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery—such as unpaid customs fees, uncollected parcels from pickup points, or incorrect address details—a flat fee of €50 will be charged per shipment to cover additional shipping and handling costs.
